As much as I love me some rough and dirty Johnny Depp, and have no problem with People magazine crowning him the sexiest man of 2009, I can't dismiss how their list is typically full of white men. Since its debut in 1985, there has only been one non-white cover winner - Denzel in 1996.  Of course that is because European standards of beauty triumph in major media markets, but we won't go there now - that conversation isn't sexy, at all.
