I just shelled out 60-something bucks so I can see Mos Def in Hollywood this September and this video makes me think I'm going to get my money's worth. I'm a firm believer that some songs should never be touched: Sam Cooke's "A Change Gone Come" (Sorry Anthony Ham),  Zapp & Roger's "Computer Love" (somebody snatch up Lil' Kim before I do), the entire Stevie Wonder catalogue, and MJ's too, but this snippet of "Billie Jean" is decent, even good. It makes me wonder what else Mos Def can do with some of MJ's classics.  He doesn't attempt to mimic The King except when he does the moonwalk but it's more endearing than cheesy.
