Update: Black Designer Complainer is Lightweight Crazy

Once again, a “source” has given the media (and PT, argh!!) some bogus information. Turns out the lady who claimed to represent the Black Artists’ Association is kinda nutso:
This does not mark the first time [Amnau] Eele, a “divination artist” has made headlines with unusual claims.
In 2007, Amnau Eele and her brother Clifton Mallery (a/k/a Enjai Omaa Eele), filed a lawsuit claiming that the idea for the NBC show “Heroes” was in fact stolen from a 777-page handwritten novel they had written along with a short film and series of paintings on the same subject.
Their concept hinged on the idea of twins (they also refer to themselves as “The Twins”) who could paint the future. The lawsuit was dismissed as “absurd” by the judge, who also found that they were liable for NBC’s court fees, which totaled nearly $100,000.
The Eele siblings have also claimed that they predicted the events of September 11, notified the authorities and were ignored. They are reported in the Jewish World Review as “regular and sometimes unsettling sight in front of the Tribeca Film Co. headquarters.”
No records or news stories relating to the Black Artists Association that Eele claims to be the co-founder of could be located. [Associated Content]
Props to the Snob for the new news.
This makes a little happy. I’m pretty sure there are folks griping about Michelle’s inauguration designer choices (and the kids’ clothes, Barack’s suits and the soon-to-be-chosen dog’s soon-to-exist collar, for that matter), but at least they’ve had the sense to stay out of the media so far. Sorry for the mix-up, ya’ll. As you were.

Thank God. You know…I swear black people are too caught up in black and white. I’m going to need people to move past that if they expect for there to be any type of progress. kthxbye.

the only light weight crazy is the moron that runs this blog.
A quick trip to The Metropolitan museum would educate you about Amnau Eele’s family Luba art work of ‘painting the future” that is part of the permanent collection of this museum.
We suggest that you contact Amnau Eele at biblicalaccessories@yahoo.com
and be prepared to prove in a court of law that Ms. Amnau Eele is crazy.
you’ve defamed this woman’s name on a WWD story that you did not fact check.
you will hear from our lawyers.
Thank You
