…that’s what Angela just texted me.  Damn.  It looks like another one bites the dust;  I had high hopes for Jesse Jackson Jr.  Federal authorities are claiming Jesse Jr. is “Candidate No. 5” the one person caught up in the same amount of mess as Blago in the Obama senate seat drama.  The officials believe Jesse Jr. had someone bargain on his behalf with Blago for the senate position.  According to the same batch of wiretaps where he can be heard calling Obama a “motherf***er,” the feds say Blago told an associate:

 We were approached ‘pay to play.’ That you know, he’d raise me 500 grand. An emissary came. Then the other guy would raise a million, if I made him [Senate Candidate 5] a senator.

Did I already say damn? Lately, them Jacksons always seem to be caught up in some mess associated with Obama.  But, for awhile, it looked like Jesse Jr. was turning out to be anything but his daddy.  Of course, Jesse Jr. is denying any wrong doing. As he should.  Peep his press conference:
