So it’s the morning, which means I’m clicking on all the usual suspects to see what’s new. And as you may have guessed, Kanye’s blog is near the top of my list. Mr. West sorta revealed plans for his next tour, including a rough sketch of something that looks like a UFO [or maybe a big diamond??] and little squiggly people running about. Needless to say I’m no expert at rough sketch interpretation. 

 

As you can see from the image above, the tour is tentatively titled “Ye vs th,” which is fun cause now we can all speculate about what the “th” is:

 

-Ye vs “The Media?”: The squiggly lines could be nekked paparazzi girls with cameras around their neck ala Kanye’s G-shock performance and 808’s listening party. I still got nothing for the big structure in the middle though.

 

-Ye vs the Volcano??: That’s what MTV News guesses. That leaves me pretty “meh.” I hope that’s not it. 

 

-Ye vs THE WORLD!!!!: Okay, yeah…it’s early and I’m already out of ideas. Got any good ones??

 

Kanye also talks about the success of his latest album and asserts that “All mixed opinions will be over by next summer when I’m closing festivals and everyone is singing ‘okaay…okay. Okaaaaye…You’ll never stop it now!!’ Or ‘you worried bout the wrong things, the wrooong thiiings!!’”

 

I think plenty of folks are singing that right now.
